Yes! I am looking for a job and a place to rent!!

Since 8 December 2006, I have been attached to IBN for moi FYP. It's finally going to end in less than 2 weeks time! Even though I extended my dateline for another week, but I guess one more week of torture should be worth it in order to do a suisui thesis. Months of experiments, endless pipeting, cloning, transformation, transfection are indeed memorable. I have never ever done so much laboratory work in my entire life! But I have no wish to contine this for the rest of my life. hahaha isn't it, my dear SBS pals?

Yet another phase of our lives whereby a major decision is required. Darn. I really hate all these decision-makings. Which school should I go, which course should I take, which CCA should I join, which lab should I attach to? One wrong move and that's it, you're doomed. I would much rather decide on what to have for lunch or which dress to wear today. hahahaha.

Everyone around me is popping the same question- have you sent any resume? ZY clinched a management position at Standard Chartered. PF has applied for HSBC. Jacket should be going to DBS (gd luck man!). Nardev got into GIS/ IMCB? Oh man, I am still clueless about which path to take. To stay in research or not to stay? I really don't mind the lackluster life of a lab officer but the remuneration is so not attractive. How much can I earn here? 2.3k starting-pay for a graduate with Bachelor degree. I seriously think it's underpaid, considering this is a professional position. Even if you spend another 5 years doing your phD, the most you will get at the end of it is approximately 4k? hahaha I think it's not even enough to cover the first year of your phD degree. You want at least 8k? Wait for another 1o years or wait till you win Nobel Prize. Banking? I know nuts about it. But the money is definitely handsome. Marketing? Seems interesting but not rewarding enough. Air-stewardess? No matter whether I am tall enough or not, no thanks. Taitai? Can't find any dying rich man. whahahaha. You all ah.. stop giving me all the stupid ideas of hooking a dirty rich old man please.. Hmm radio DJ? Sounds incredible yet so untouchable. News reporter? Wooow. Corporate communications? Events management? Magazine writer? Fashion designer? Fashion management? How about professional slacker???

Other than job offers, anyone has recommendations for a place to rent? Preferably a 2 bedroom flat/ apartment near town. Affordable studio appartments are more than welcome! =)
Oooh I would love to stay around Holland area! Tiong Bahru, Redhill, Toa Payoh, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio Novena sounds wonderful too. heh. (KaiLun.. see this see this?? It's written specially for you! haha)

After I shift out of hall and before I land myself a job, I'd most probably go back JB EVERYDAY. OMG!! I haven't done that for the past 6 years. I'm so not gonna get use to it anytime soon. Any kind soul out there wants to offer me their room? =)
